Phantasy by Imogen Holst swirls with lyricism amid its treasured English pastoral aesthetic, and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Quintet reveals all the brilliance and playfulness of his colourful style.

Clarinetist Justin Beere & pianist Aidan Boase give the world premiere of Lockdown Miniatures No. 8 for clarinet & piano by acclaimed Australian composer and clarinetist, Paul Dean. Inspired by the news and events of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Dean’s evocative miniatures journal his daily reflections, shining a light on the roller-coaster of emotions induced by isolation, devastation and the somewhat humorous happenings of lockdown. This album features 7 miniatures from an extraordinary body of work, comprising of 70 miniatures that were composed in 70 days for friends and family.
